The Executive Management is responsible for the operational management of the Grand Reinsurance in-line with the instructions issued by the Board of Directors. Their task is to ensure that the company operations are aligned with the objective of becoming the reinsurer of first choice in the market we operate. They are also responsible for overall strategy and stakeholder management.
Tatenda KatomaManaging Director
Tatenda Katoma is a Certified Risk and Compliance Professional (IARCP) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Risk Management from the University of South Africa and a Masters’ degree in Business Admission (MBA) from ESAMI. Before joining Grand Reinsurance, Tatenda worked for AON Reinsurance Brokers and FBC Reinsurance.
Tinashe MarufuGeneral Manager-Operations
Tinashe Marufu holds an MSc in Finance and Investments and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Risk Management & Insurance from the National University of Science and Technology. Tinashe also holds an Associateship Diploma with IIZ.
Hazel ZimboworaHead of Finance
Hazel Zimbowora is a Chartered Accountant. She completed her articles of clerkship with PwC Zimbabwe and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree from Africa University and a Honours in Bachelor of Accounting Science (BCompt Honours) as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Sciences from the University of South Africa. Before joining Grand Reinsurance, Hazel did Articles with Price Waterhouse Coopers and also worked for Mashonaland Tobacco Company.
